This is my triple battle strategy revolving around shedinja. please watch till the end. applaud to craig for not disconnecting. please rate, comment, and subscribe if you enjoy my video.. Final gambit causes the user to faint, and the target receives damage equal to how much hp the user lost. if final gambit doesn't hit the opponent due to missing, type immunity, or protection move, then final gambit will fail and the user will not faint.. After this, the shedinja merely sets up and kills his opponents. the real beauty of this set is the use of final gambit. final gambit is a move that ko's your pokemon and does damage equal to the amount of hitpoints you had left. for some reason, game freak gave shedinja access to this move, meaning it will ever only deal 1 hp of damage..
Final gambit makes the user faint, leaving the foe with as much hp as the user had before fainting. so, if you can get a shedinja with decent speed up against a super slow wall, you can use final gambit and leave it with 1 hp left, leaving it an easy target for the next pokemon you send out.. A whopping 1 hp. final gambit does as much damage as the number of hit points the user has left. since shedinja can only hope to get 1 hp, that's all final gambit would do.. Deals damage to the target equal to the user's current hp. if this move is successful, the user faints. (inadequate description? let us know in this thread.).
